Not that dense [Hinata x Reader]

It was just an ordinary cold morning, as Shouyou locked his bicycle, he headed towards the gym. When he pushed open the door, he could see Nishinoya and Tanaka sitting at the side of the court together with Sugawara while Kageyama was practicing his serve It seems like Nishinoya was holding his phone, showing Tanaka some stuff and Sugawara was looking too, the three of them started smiling, as if they just saw something that brightened up their day. Shouyou blinked in curiousity and greeted them in a loud and cheerful voice.

"Morning!"

"Oh hey! Good morning!" ,"Whats up" and " You're so slow" was the reply he got.

"Shut up Kageyama! You came at 5am again, didn't you?" Hinata shot back at him, making him go "geh!"

"Morning! Hey Shouyou, c'mere!" Nishinoya called out in an exciting tone. Hinata tilted his head in confusion but still went over, bending down to get a better look of the phone's screen. As he slowly read the content , his bright golden eyes was still filled with uncertainty.

"Noya-san? What is this suppose to be?" He questioned.

"Ouch , you're really dense ,Hinata! This is a dating website! See this cute girl? Oh! And this one too!" Tanaka started to point to pictures of girls with beautiful hair and gorgeous faces while fanboying to himself.

"Oh this? (F/N) told me about it before!" Hinata blurted out, obtaining a glare from both of his senpai.

"(F/N)? Who's this (F/N)!?" Nishinoya shouted while Tanaka grabbed him on the shoulder, shaking him violently.  

"uwaahhhhhhh, T-tanaka-san, s-s-s-stop, she-she's my best f-f-friend!" Hinata tried to speak. Tanaka blinked a couple of times before dropping him on the floor , earning a "Gwah!" sound.

"You're best friend with a girl? Is she cute? Is she pretty?" Nishinoya quickly followed up. Hinata coughed a little bit before looking at Nishinoya and blushing red.

"....Y-yes.." He mumbled.

 It wasn't like you were a super model beauty or things like that. You were an average girl, or maybe slightly above average. Your hair is always smooth and silky and your skin was naturally nice too. Usually people don't notice this kind of stuff, but for Shouyou, it was a special case. He would stare at you from time to time, trying to catch your every details.
 Because he likes you a lot.
 And you did too.

But there's a problem, and this problem was something you just can't solve because you were just too shy and embarrassed.
Hinata is dense.
Like, really really dense.

You held his hands before ,but all he did was swing it around and laugh, because he thought it was a friendly gesture.
You went out your way and made food for him, but he didn't think much of it,  because he thought it was a friendly gesture.
You asked for so many dates before , and his reply was ," Can we get more people to come along!?"

You were too scared to be any braver than that, so your feelings never came through each other.

"Well, have she ever taught you how to use this site?" Tanaka shot a questioning look at Hinata as he shook his head.

"Nope, all she said was if I'm interested, I should try using it."

"Does that mean she's rejecting you? She's probably trying to friendzone you by telling you to get on a dating website!" Nishinoya shouted. Both Sugawara and Tanaka jumped in surprise as they tried to cover Nishinoya's mouth.

"Friendzone? What's that?
....WAIT, SHE'S REJECTING ME!?
H-how?? I- I haven't even confessed yet! Oh my god-" Hinata started to shake and mumbled a whole lot of inaudible words, making Sugawara panicked too.

"H-hinata, calmed down! M-maybe she have other motives?" Sugawara tried his hardest to comfort him, but was interrupted again by Tanaka.

"Wait ,by confessed, you mean you like her!?"

"I knew it!" Kageyama shouted from across the gym.

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"

-After a few moments-

"Okay now that we got things settled, let's actually try using this site, okay?" Sugawara sighed.

"Sure! Alright, Shouyou. First you type in your appearance or personality in the search bar, and they'll help you find someone who's looking for people like you!" Nishinoya explained as he tossed the phone to Hinata. Hinata barely caught the phone as he pressed the keys on the phone.

'Personality: I love volleyball and I want to be the ace!'

"Hinata , don't be stupid! That's not gonna work!" Tanaka shouted as he lightly punched Hinata on the head.

"Ow! Then what am I suppose-"

*Ding*

"N-no way...." Sugawara gasped. Everyone's eyes widen in shock as they quickly snatched the phone from Hinata's grasp and stare at the screen. That sound hinted that there was search results.A profile of a girl named (F/N) (L/N) appeared, stating her own personal information. As they scrolled down, they came to a page that states the partner that she's looking for:

'Cute ginger with spiky hair and bright golden eyes. '
'Extremely adorable.'
'A kind dork.'
'Must be a volleyball player.'
'Must love volleyball.'
'Must be aiming to become an Ace.'
'Must have the jersey number 10.'
'Must be dense.'
'Must have the name Hinata Shouyou.'

and at the bottom, she left a note.

'Hey Shou-chan! Well...I doubt you'll ever see this but, I love you!"

"......" Sugawara's mouth was open wide, not believing what he just read. Nishinoya and Tanaka stood rooted to the ground, not knowing what to do.

"Guys? What is it? Is there a result? Who?" Hinata immediately got back on his feet and took back the phone. He quickly scanned through the text before he felt his whole body getting warmer and hotter.  He almost dropped the phone in surprise when Daichi came in and shouted, "Class is starting guys!" The whole volleyball team quickly kept the balls and clean up the gym while Hinata continue to stand at his spot.

"Oi Hinata let's go." Kageyama called out to him, but to his confusion, Hinata didn't reply.

"Hinata-kun?" Sugawara tried too, but still didn't earn a single reply, not even a movement.

"Oi! Hinata!"

"He's not breathing!!"

"Get him to the nurse office!!!"

"HE FAINTED!"

"SHOUYOU!!!"

-Time skips-

 Hinata felt soft fabrics engulfing his tiny body. It was warm and nice, he could also feel something soft under his head and he didn't want to wake up anymore.

 Until he heard the bell rang really loudly from outside.
 He immediately jolted up and looked around him. White curtains surrounded his left side, while on the right there was a big window with the sunlight protruding in, landing on Hinata's eyes. He quickly turned away from the piercing beam, and he saw something that almost made his heart leap out of his throat.

 You were lying down with your head on the bed, with some of your (H/C) covering your features on your face. One of your hands were stretched out in front of you and your other hand....

Your other hand was holding Hinata's. Your fingers were intertwined , lacing together. Hinata seriously can't believe he didn't notice it but now when he did, he felt like he was going to faint again. He tried to maintain himself and he was a nervous wreck right now, making weird sounds that eventually woke you up too.

"Shou-chan?" You spoke before yawning and rubbing your eyes, probably driving Hinata's hormones crazy.

"W-w-w-w-w--whaa-" He's not even talking human anymore, making you burst out laughing.

"Idiot! Why are you so nervous?"

"B-b-b-b-becau-se y-you w-er-ere holdi- OUCH!" Hinata shouted as he accidentally bite his tongue.

"Ohmygod! HAHAHAHA, Shou-chan calm down! I heard from Sugawara-senpai already!" You stifled your laughter and smile at him.

 He stopped his movements before flushing red again, but he still smiled back too and tighten his hand that was in your grasp. Now it was your turn to blush and but you gentle pulled him into a hug.

"Do you understand now?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're so dense! You never realised what I've been doing?"

"N-no...Well! It doesn't matter now that we know each other's feelings!!"

"Gosh, how can I ever handle you?
